The mountain of Montserrat is a rocky massif that stands out in dramatic scenery at some 4,000 feet on the see level, perched on the Llobregat River. This unique landscape in the world, crisscrossed by several cable cars and funiculars, is a natural park and hosts the holly shrine and a millennium year
old monastery built to worship the “Moreneta”.

The Escolania children’s choir is the oldest music school in Europe still in function. Visitors to the basilica can enjoy their angel’s voices six days a
week.

Penedès wine and Cava County.

Experience the amazing discovery of the Cava and wine elaboration secrets. Family groups with children are welcome, specially in the largest cellars,
which offer little train tours around the premisses.

The largest cellars: ideal for kids. Impressive centuries old cellars and tunnels, carved by hand at more than 60 feet of depth. Amazing size.
Codorniu for Cava, in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia: one of the world’s biggest sparkling wine companies.

Torres for wines and brandies, in Vilafranca del Penedès: the largest wine producer in the Spanish territory.

The small, family owned, very good wine cellars: ideal for connoisseurs. Both received a 90 score by Parker for two of their bottles by the 2012 Wine Advocate magazine.

Jané Ventura cellars in La Bisbal del Penedès: a regular provider of the Restaurant El Bulli.

Tomàs Cusiné cellars in El Vilosell: a bit further away than the other cellars.
